But it is first come, first serve and is therefore not guaranteed. About Soulful Femme:WEBSITE | LISTEN Stevee Wellons and Cheryl Rinovato, the two principals in the dynamic duo known as Soulful Femme, are more than simply a dynamic singing duo. They are seasoned performers in their own right, each possessing vast experience in the music business who happened to join forces and find an ideal chemistry. Wellons has been performing since the late 1970’s in a variety of bands, among them any number of accomplished outfits, including the Rhythm Machine, Jumpstreet, Shaker, the Cruisers, the Elmonics, The Real Deal Band, and The Stevee Wellons Band. Over the course of her career, she shared stages with the Dazz Band, Cameo, Peaches and Herb, and Howard Hewett, among many others. She’s released two solo albums — Stevee Wellons -All Natural Ingredients and one simply titled Stevee. In addition, she recently co-wrote and performed background vocals for the artist known as Sun King Rising, A.K.A John Blangero. She previously taught at the Afro-American Music Institute and is currently an adjunct professor at the Community College of Allegheny County. Cheryl brings an equally impressive resume to the table. She’s been a student of guitar since the age of nine and later became a graduate of the prestigious Berklee School of Music. A three-time recipient of the prestigious Jim Weber Award accorded to the blues guitarist of the year, she claims extensive studio experience while citing such early influences as Jimi Hendrix, Duane Allman, Tower of Power, and Burt Bacharach. In addition, she’s a Delaney Guitars-endorsed artist who has two signature models that were designed with her in mind. The two met at a Blues Society event in 2014 and clicked immediately. A year later, they competed at the International Blues Competition in Memphis. Their first album, It Is Well With My Soul, was released in 2021. They then found themselves touring consistently, sharing stages with Tommy Castro and opening for such acts as Robert Cray, Mavis Staples, Ana Popovic, Samantha Fish, Shemekia Copeland, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Bernard Allison, Mike Zito, Albert Castiglia, and Jeremiah Johnson. “The planets were all in line when Cheryl and I met,” Stevee insists. “It became obvious that we had to take this journey simply because it was meant to be. She and I are women of a certain age and aren't quite ready to hang up our instruments…We still have a lot to say and we’re determined to say it in the here and now!” (READ MORE)

There is plenty of seating available. But it is first come, first serve and is therefore not guaranteed. About Pete Hewlett:WEBSITE | FACEBOOK Pete Hewlett is a world-class singer who happens to make Pittsburgh his home. He has toured and recorded with Billy Joel, Elton John, Carly Simon, Joe Jackson, Julian Lennon, Amy Grant, and Eric Carmen to name a few. Pete got his first recording contract at the age of 16. His band, "Peter's Pipers," won a local Battle of the Bands contest which sent them on to the National finals. They came in 6th place and that got them a deal with Phillips Mercury Records. In the early seventies, Pete joined "Sweet Lightning," a local Pittsburgh group and signed a contract with RCA Records. The band recorded an LP and a few singles that had some regional success. In the mid seventies, Pete moved to Cleveland where he recorded with Eric Carmen of The Raspberries, then joined the "Euclid Beach Band." But the real turning point came a few years later when Hewlett's former "Sweet Lightning" band mate, Sid McGinnis (David Letterman's guitarist), recommended Pete to Carly Simon who was looking for a new back-up singer/guitarist. Pete got the job, moved to New York, recorded "Come Upstairs" and headed out on tour with Simon. It was during this time in New York that Hewlett hooked up with drummer Michael Shrieve (Santana) and formed "Novo Combo." They were signed to Polygram and released two albums. Music reviewer George Thatcher said, "The songs which stand out for me are the ones in which Pete Hewlett sings." Novo Combo toured with The Who, Cheap Trick, Greg Lake and performed at the 1981 Montreux Jazz Festival. Hewlett joined Billy Joel for the "Innocent Man" (1984) and "The Bridge" world tours. And then came the tour that made international news: Billy Joel would bring a fully-staged rock production to the Soviet Union as part of the Reagan-Gorbachev 1987 Geneva summit. Hewlett performed with Joel in Moscow and Leningrad and made history as part of the first live rock radio broadcast in Soviet history, which was also simulcast in the United states. The live double-album, Kohuept (translation: 'In Concert'), chronicled the trip. Back in the States, Hewlett recorded the "Starlight Express" Broadway soundtrack with Andrew Lloyd Weber, Joe Jackson's "Big World" recording and U.S. Concert Tour, Julian Lennon's "Secret Value of Day Dreaming" album, and Amy Grant's 1997 World Leader Summit performance. Pete won an Emmy Award in 2007 as host/performer of WQED's (PBS affiliate station) "Live FromStudio A". In July 2008, Pete reconnected with Billy Joel for the The Last Play at Shea Concerts performing with Tony Bennett, John Mayer, Roger Daltrey, Garth Brooks, Don Henley, John Mellencamp, Steven Tyler and Sir Paul McCartney.

DOORS AT 7PM | SHOW AT 8PM | 21 AND OVER$20 in advance / $25 Day of show [+Tax/Fees]About Kelsey / Brownie Mary:FACEBOOK | LISTEN Formed in 1993, Brownie Mary was one of Pittsburgh’s hot acts during the 1990s. The core members Kelsey Friday and Rich Jacques met in Bethany college in West Virginia and started off doing covers at the local bars, eventually becoming inspired to pen their own tunes. The name Brownie Mary comes from a hospital volunteer named Mary Rathbun, who was arrested several times for handing out marijuana brownies to patients suffering from cancer and AIDS. Upon graduating they decided to take it seriously and move to Pittsburgh. There they linked up with bassist Mike Marks and drummer Steve Kaz and became regulars at local clubs like Graffiti, Nick’s Fat City, Rosebud as well as performing non stop on the east coast college circuit. The band had a loyal following in Pittsburgh, and their fan base soon stretched from Columbus to New York to Sarasota. Brownie Mary won top honors at the 1994 Graffiti Rock Challenge. The Graffiti victory, taken in competition against 100 of the freshest East Coast groups, earned the band Graffiti’s tag as the & Next Big Thing. They opened for Melissa Etheridge, Hootie and the Blowfish, The Dave Matthews Band, The Smithereens, The Crash Test Dummies, and Rusted Root. Brownie Mary also performed at 1995’s Saxophone Club DNC fund-raiser before an audience that included then President Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea. They even had a presence on MTV, popping up on the occasional reality show. Churning out catchy pop tunes, Brownie Mary looked like a breakout group. In 1994, Brownie Mary's debut came in the form of a self-released, 11-track CD called “That’s Me.” Although courted by several major labels, the group released the follow-up independently, too. The result was an EP called “Who’s Your Daddy,” a title which, according to Friday, is based on an inside band joke. Most of the tracks are upbeat pop, with a couple of folky cuts. The driving force is Barber’s vocals, circling around a heavy groove. In 1997 with the support of a large enthusiastic fan base in the east coast tri-state region Brownie Mary was signed to Atlantic’s Blackbird/Sire label Brownie Mary released their major label debut in 1998. The album was produced by Kevin Moloney who worked with Sinead O’Connor and U2. The band was being compared to other alt pop groups like The Cranberries, The Pretenders, and No Doubt.
The Original Pittsburgh Winery Presents: Floyd Mercantile featuring Peter Mulvey & Jenna Nichols! DOORS AT 6PM | SHOW AT 7PM | 21 AND OVER $25.00 in Advance // $30.00 Day of show [+Tax/Fees] *This is a general admission event. There is plenty of seating available. But it is first come, first serve and is therefore not guaranteed. About Floyd Mercantile: In April 2025, Peter Mulvey and Jenna Nicholls, along with guitarist Ross Bellenoit, traveled to Floyd, a small mountain town located in the Blue Ridge Highlands of Southwest Virginia, for five uninterrupted days of recording. What emerged isFloyd Mercantile—a record that feels both intimate and timeless. The makeshift studio was a decommissioned general store called (you guessed it!) Floyd Mercantile—a weathered wooden building standing across the road from an open pasture where cows wandered and grazed in the gentle early spring. (One cow even volunteered to be on the album cover.) Inside those old walls, the trio recorded the album live—no isolation booths, no heavy overdubbing—just three musicians in a room, listening closely and letting the songs unfold in real time. The sessions were recorded by Jeff Oehler and filmed in their entirety by partner Sue Bibeau and their associateSkylar Locke. Together, Sue and Jeff compriseBeehivePro, an audio, visual, and design collective famed for their intimate recordings and thoughtfully considered visuals. They captured not just the sound, but the atmosphere—the wood floors, the daylight through the dusty windows, and the creak of the porch boards could all be considered session players on this album. The repertoire bridges eras. Mostly comprised of songsPeter and Jenna wrote separately, there are a few gems from the Great American Songbook: “Skylark" (HoagyCarmichael/Johnny Mercer), “Them There Eyes" (Maceo Pinkard / Doris Tauber /William Tracey), and “I'll Be SeeingYou" (Sammy Fain/Irving Kahal). The visual and sonic tones of the project reflect the periods these songs evoke—even the newly composed tracks feel in conversation with another time. The goal was not nostalgia, but continuity: to stand inside the lineage ofAmerican song and add something honest and present toit. Floyd Mercantile is not just an album. It’s a document of place. Of three musicians in a room. Of songs—old and new—allowed to breathe in the quiet of a Virginia afternoon

The Band will re-create the legendary Graffiti Showcase performance that ultimately became the “Alcohol Abuse Live” record. This launched them into the regional zeitgeist as THE band not to miss, because you never knew what would happen on stage next! The audiences were electric, and that show was absolutely bananas! The band is back in that rare form once again and prepared to bring the blistering insanity of 1999 back to the stages of Western PA this summer! But it is first come, first serve and is therefore not guaranteed. About The Buzz Poets:FACEBOOK | LISTEN Buzz Poets have been one of Pittsburgh’s most colorful, maniacal and solid bands since 1997 when the flashy and trashy band of rockers first hit the Pittsburgh music scene. Their high energy, alt rock style got people’s attention not only for the stage antics and lyrical content, but for having very well written and memorable songs. The music is all over the map stylistically demonstrating the bands love for everything from the pop punk and ska sounds of 311 and Sublime to Seattle grunge rock, to hip hop and reggae, and of course their love for the Beatles as a songwriting foundation is apparent. Having written some classic radio hits like “Copenhagen Girl” “Psycho”, and “Parasite” the band played 200+ shows a year for many years, but the most meaningful song the band has ever written is “Angel Eyes” about the tragic loss of a dear friend. These days the band makes rare reunion appearances and consists of Phil MacDowell (vocals, guitar) Tim Gaber (bass, vocals), Justin Sarra (keys, turntables), Ronnie Lavella (drums) and Juan Vasquez (guitar, vocals) The guys continue to bring the energy and the music that the loyal fans have known and loved for over a decade.
