Kevin Garrett is a recording artist and songwriter from Pittsburgh who has been carving his own path in the industry for a decade and counting. Always an artist to watch, Garrett blends his R&B roots into his intricately clever songwriting to offer a style that has been cited as an influence by numerous artists. Such influence is evidenced by his many songwriting collaborations as well, working with named like Beyonce, BANKS, and Cynthia Erivo. While taking some time off the road, Kevin has finally revealed his next release, a new single from his heavily anticipated forthcoming project. Titled “Benefit Of The Doubt,” the song features his signature piano stylings immersed in lush and nuanced production. It’s a perfect complement to the project’s first single “Hard Work,” and is a beautiful peek at what’s to come as he plans to release more music periodically over the next year. With as many accolades as he’s earned, he has yet to disappoint listeners with his ever evolving sound.

 

This singer/songwriter was the longtime frontman and founder of Pittsburgh’s award-winning band “Jimbo and the Soupbones”. Jimbo has a larger-than-life, soulful voice and his charm is infectious.

Jimbo crosses musical genres without apology, resulting in a fresh, yet familiar blend of funk, rock, soul and blues that excludes no listener. He offers both original music and soulful, stripped-down covers of the songs that you forgot you loved as well as current classics.

The show features this multi-instrumentalist and his looping system.  Whether the crowd needs soft acoustic tones for an intimate performance or craving that full band sound with a small footprint, Jimbo is your go-to maestro. Jason is an accomplished and award-winning guitarist with touch, feel, tone and energy to match anything that the performance needs. His technical mastery of the instrument is evident, and his quick-witted comebacks serve as the perfect complement to Jimbo’s, sometimes off-script nature.
