With the release of D’Angelo’s debut album Brown Sugar in 1995, Neo-Soul was born; a new genre with elements ranging from soul, blues, funk, gospel, and jazz-fusion. In 2000, he again showed his genius with the release of Voodoo, tying together deeply expressive vocals with world-class musicianship. Brown Sugar Voodoo: A D’Angelo Tribute will be a night to remember as we pay homage to the mastermind that was D’Angelo by taking some of his biggest hits to the Original Pittsburgh Winery Stage with special guests the Natalie Rogers Band
