Vocal Steel

Vocal Steel is proud to be one of the only semi-professional Pittsburgh-based contemporary a cappella groups! The vocal band was formed in the beginning of 2023, and currently consists of fourteen members who are all full-time professionals in other industries outside of singing. There is a mix of those who are from Pittsburgh and sang a cappella at schools in the area, and members who got singing experience elsewhere and are now calling Pittsburgh home! The group sings a variety of genres of contemporary a cappella music, from pop to folk to classic rock. Since its origin, Vocal Steel has had the opportunity to perform their own self-produced shows as well collaborate with other artists at various locations in Pittsburgh.
