About Big Jus:
Justin Short, better known as Big Jus, can be seen as a pioneer in the Pittsburgh area hip-hop scene. He had many notable releases in the 90s, which landed him the recognition of rapper Sam Sneed and eventually led him to California, and a working relationship with Death Row Records. The two went on to record, and create music while on the West Coast, however business discrepancies with Death Row prevented the material from seeing the light of day.
